Festival Info / FAQ
Here you can find a lot of useful information for the Hai in den Mai Festival.
Besides, there are many useful things here, such as:
- Tents and sleeping bags
- blankets and mattresses
- old festival bracelets
- tent locks
- Mosquito repellent
- Waldfrieden Waldfreakquenz Compilation CDs
- Free pocket ashtrays
- and many more!
There are also charged powerbanks sold at the Bootschaft.
Please help us to also keep the direct environment of the Waldfrieden clean by using garbage bags and pocket ashtrays. Also please use the toilets instead of going in the forest or elsewhere for that purpose.
There are big campfires for everyone and places designated for barbecue.
During the festival you can ask for lost stuff at the Infobude.
Please leave fireworks, confetti and graffiti cans completely at home.
Apart from the fact that other people may not want to be filmed or photographed by you, you don’t do yourself a favor if you want to capture everything on camera. The festival is a good time to put your smartphone aside and take a vacation from the digital world. Keep the good memories in your heart – not on a chip!
Guests over 60 years of age do not pay admission.
Wheelchair users and guests who are dependent on an accompanying person because of dissabilites can bring one accompanying person who will get free admission.
For each sofa you bring with you, you will have to pay an additional 5€ disposal fee, because in the past we had too many sofas left on the camp site.
At the Silent Camp music and other loud noises should be avoided! Generators are also not allowed here.
The nearest airports are Münster/Osnabrück, Hannover and Paderborn/Lippstsadt.
Never drive under the influence of alcohol or any other drug. Be prepared for police checks around the festival.
Their accommodation options vary from regular 1-4 person tents to tipis, wooden cabins and more. Additionally, they have a variety of camping accessories to choose from that will boost the homey feeling of your tent: camping mats, sleeping bags, camping chairs, bedside tables, pillows, fleece blankets, towels, gas cookers, cartridges. For those who enjoy the fun of pitching a tent and setting up camp themselves (along with saving money), they offer a Do-It-Yourself solution. After booking the equipment online, you will pick up your order at their on-site festival camping shop. Make your reservation here!

For you the advantages of Waldmark are that you can easily set yourself a spending limit and no one has to walk around with big amounts of cash on the festival.
Waldmark is not redeemable!
